Hensley Creek Hangar
Based in Columbus, Montana… The Hensley Creek Private Hangar is located on a 2500 acre working cattle ranch with spectacular views of the Beartooth, Big Horn, and Crazy Mountain ranges. The hangar sits a top a hill at the end of a 6000 foot runway nestled among pine trees and large open fields. Special events here are enhanced by the beauty and splendor of Montana with its Big Sky views and wide open spaces.

The Venue
The Hensley Creek Ranch is a unique venue. The entire ranch is available for guests for longer periods of time to make your special event a lasting and memorable occasion. Rather than hosting multiple events each weekend we offer a quality experience.
Fly In
The 6000 foot gravel runway can accomodate any type of aircraft. Guests can skip the hassle of commercial air travel by flying in to their own private hangar.
2500 acre ranch
Guests will be treated to the sights and sounds of a working cattle ranch complete with rustic barn, livestock, open fields and incredible views. Guests are welcome to hike and bike throughout the ranch. The ranch includes 500 feet of Yellowstone River frontage.
Plane Hangar
The 72′ by 74′ hangar can easily accomodate groups up to 300 people. The hangar is newly constructed. The white metal walls are accentuated by a rustic barnwood wainscoting giving guests the feel of a true Montana experience. The wide open fields surrounding the hangar allow for plenty of parking.
3 bedroom farmhouse
This is the original farmhouse on the ranch. While the inside has been updated to make it comfortable, the hardwood screened porch and original wood stair case make it a great place to take pictures while getting ready. The house has three bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can accomodate 5 people.
5 Bedroom Lodge
This beautifully decorated 5 bedroom, 3 bath home was constructed in 2015 and can easily accomodate 12 people. There are two king size beds, two queen beds and two sets of bunkbeds. The outdoor patio and firepit make it a special place for outdoor gatherings. The carport in front overlooks the orchard and pond making it another beautiful gathering spot.

24 Hour Hangar Package
Guests can use the hangar for 24 hours including use of the original farmhouse for getting ready. This package includes use of any ammenities listed on the ammenities page. This package does not include set up or clean up nor overnight stays at the homes.

Guests can use the hangar for 24 hours and stay at the Farmhouse and Lodge for 1 night. This package includes all amenities listed on the amenities page. This package includes set up at the ceremony site. It does not include clean up or set up of the Hangar.

Weekend Event Total Experience
The whole place, for the whole weekend. Guests can make use of the hangar and stay at the original 3 bedroom farmhouse and 5 bedroom lodge for three nights. Flexible arrival and departure times allow for stressfree planning. BBQ's and rehearsal dinners can take place at the lodge or hangar. This package includes set up and clean up at all lodging and hangar areas and use of all ammenities listed on the ammenities page.
