The Venue
The Hensley Creek Ranch is a unique venue in that we make the entire ranch available for guests.
original barn / dance hall
We took our century-old barn with all its rustic charm and gave it new life. Perfect for rehearsal dinners and smaller weddings.
2500 acre ranch
Guests will be treated to the sights and sounds of a working cattle ranch complete with rustic barn, livestock, open fields and incredible views. Guests are welcome to hike and bike throught the ranch. The ranch includes 500 feet of Yellowstone River frontage.
Plane Hangar
The 72′ by 74′ hangar can easily accomodate groups up to 300 people. The hangar is newly constructed. The white metal walls are accentuated by a rustic barnwood wainscoting giving guests the feel of a truly Montana experience. The wide open fields surrounding the hangar allow for plenty of parking.
3 bedroom farmhouse
This is the original farmhouse on the ranch. While the inside has been updated to make it comfortable, the hardwood screened porch and original wood stair case make it a great place to take pictures while getting ready. The house has three bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can accomodate 5 people.
5 bedroom Lodge
This beautifully decorated 5 bedroom, 3 bath home was constructed in 2015 and can easily accomodate 12 people. There are two king size beds, two queen beds and two sets of bunkbeds with double beds on the bottom and singles on the top. The outdoor patio and firepit make it a special place for outdoor gatherings. The carport overlooking the orchard and pond is another great spot for entertaining.
The Hangar

72' x 74' Building
The hangar was built in 2019. It can easily accomodate 300 people. It has a large bathroom and shower. The inside walls are white with a wainscoating of rustic barnwood.
Mountain Views and Sunset views
The Beartooth, Big Horn and Crazy Mountain Ranges make a stunning back drop for any celebration. The sunset views in the evening are magical.
6000 foot runway
The 6000 foot gravel runway allows for any type of aircraft to land. Fly in to your event and skip the hassle of commercial travel.

Original Ranch Farmhouse
The original farmhouse has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It showcases a screened in porch and original staircase. This is a fun house to get ready for bridal parties as there are great photo opportunities.

The orignal rustic barn is a great place for first look and wedding party photos.
The Lodge

5 bedroom 3 bath home
The beautifully decorated lodge is a new home built in 2015. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can easily accomodate 12 people. There are two king size beds, 2 queen beds, and two bunk beds with double mattresses on the bottom and singles on the top. The master bedroom has his and hers closets.
Outdoor patio with fire pit and hot tub
This is the perfect area for hosting BBQ’s and rehearsal dinners. The privacy you feel while on the back patio overlooking the ranch is unparalleled.
Large carport overlooking orchard and pond
The carport is another great area of the house for hosting large gatherings such as rehearsal dinners.

2500 acre working cattle ranch
500 feet of yellowstone river access
Fly fishing is a favorite sport on this stretch of river. Columbus is also home to the Stillwater River. There are many fly fishing outfitters and rafting companies to help make your river experience a success.

The views along the river, ranch, and upper hangar leave no doubt guests are in the Big Sky Country.

Location
130 miles to Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is a must do experience. The wildlife and beautiful landscape is worth the time.
35 miles from the Billings Airport
The closest airport is in Billings. However many people fly in to Bozeman which is 100 miles from Columbus.
40 miles to Red Lodge
Red Lodge is a tourist destination. It has a quaint downtown with many shops and restaurants.
150 miles to Big Sky
Big Sky Montana is a beautiful mountain destination with many shops and restaurants. The canyon drive overlooking the Gallatin River is spectacular.
